1. What are cookies and similar technologies?
Cookies are small files saved by your browser. Similar technologies include local storage, which saves information on your device, and pixels or software development kits (SDKs), which can record interactions with a site. This policy explains how HYRme uses them.
2. How we use them
- Strictly necessary: Always on. These support sign-in, security, payments and remembering your cookie choice.
- Functional: Optional. These remember features such as recent searches.
- Analytics: Optional. When allowed, this stores a session identifier to help us understand visits.
- Advertising/Marketing: Optional. This measures the effectiveness of our ads.
Functional, Analytics and Advertising/Marketing storage is off unless you allow it.

4. Meta Pixel
The Meta Pixel loads only after you allow Advertising/Marketing. It records page views, excluding admin, password reset, email verification and payment completion pages, and a sign-up completion event. We do not send your name or email to Meta. Withdrawing consent stops further events and removes Meta cookies; reloading the page fully unloads the script. Read Meta's cookie policy.
5. Analytics by our hosting provider
Floot counts page visits. Until you allow Analytics, or if you refuse it, analytics runs in a memory-only mode that stores nothing on your device, so each page load may count as a new visit. If you allow Analytics, it stores a short-lived session ID in local storage for 30 minutes.
6. Push notifications
The OneSignal service loads only if you choose to turn on push notifications or have already granted permission.
7. Third-party services that see your IP address
Map tiles (OpenStreetMap), map library files (Cloudflare cdnjs), postcode lookup (postcodes.io), search (Algolia), image upload and delivery (Cloudinary), and payments (Stripe) involve requests to third parties. These requests do not themselves set optional cookies, but, like any website request, they give the provider your IP address.
8. Change your cookie settings
You can change or withdraw your optional choices at any time. Cookie Settings is also available in the footer.
9. Browser controls
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The Information Commissioner's Office cookie guidance explains more. Blocking necessary cookies may stop sign-in working.
